Here I go again….

As most of you know I took some time off after adopting our daughter from China in 2015. It was hard for me to step away but I knew its what was best for my family at the time. I had no idea how much I would miss photographing your families and watching your children grow. I have decided that its time for me to dust my camera off and get back to what I love. I will  only be booking part time for now but I’m excited to see where it leads. I haven’t been completely out of the game these past two years. I have found the time for a shoot here and there. Here are a few recent shots from some of my favorites.

Senior Class of 2015

This beautiful girl wants to be a equine vet. What better place to do her senior session then at the horse barn where she spent her summers learning to ride and care for these majestic animals. We had absolutely perfect weather that day and I truly enjoyed being at the barn. It’s always nice when I can photograph people doing what they love. Here is just a small sample of the images we captured. Look out world…Class of 2015 is coming!

A year in the life of Hudson -Charlotte baby photography-

It’s hard to believe but it’s happened again. One of my “year in the life” babies has reached that 1 year mark. I fell in love with Hudson’s little red head and squishy cheeks the first time I ever met him. Following him through this past year has been so much fun. (I have the best job)

Despite the cold temperatures that day, we had a wonderful 1 year session at Winthrop University. The location was actually his mommy’s idea but with Winthrop being my alma mater  I jumped at the chance to do a session there. And I must add that Hudson won over more than a few college girls with his charm.  Here  are just a few of the gorgeous images we got that day.

Happy Birthday Hudson!

Small but Mighty -Charlotte Newborn Photography-

This sweet precious baby was born back in July weighing in at just a little over 2 pounds and 14 inches long.  He had an awful lot of people praying for him and after a few months of fighting hard he finally was able to come home. I was so excited to go and meet him today. Even though I knew he was a tiny little guy, when his mommy first handed him to me I was blown away at just how tiny he was. He might be small but he is definitely mighty!  He did so well during his shoot today and just needed a few cuddles to drift right off to sleep.  Enjoy this peek at this very special little boy.
